Car changing is a big deal
A replacement for the Fiat 500X has been revealed , and it’s called the 600. This small SUV is exclusively available as an electric car in the UK, and you can expect it to go on sale by the end of the year.

The new Fiat 600e is here, and it’s an alternative to small electric cars such as the Jeep Avenger and Peugeot e-208.
You get similar cutesy styling to its smaller stablemate, and the 600e will do 250 miles on a charge. You’ll be able to order this car in the UK from the autumn.
New Fiat 600e design
The design of the new Fiat 600e was leaked a couple of months ago, however now you can get a proper look at this EVs design.
The family resemblance between this and the Fiat 500 is pretty obvious from the front. The 600 has similar round LED headlights and thin air intakes, although it has a slightly more muscular appearance than the dinky 500.
You can have up to 18-inch alloy wheels, and the side profile is pretty similar to the 500’s. It’s obviously a bit longer than that car, and it sits higher as well giving an SUV-esque appearance.
There’s a neat roof spoiler at the rear, as well as some funky-looking C-shaped tail lights. The little Italian flag motif on the lower bumper is a neat touch as well.
New Fiat 600e interior and infotainment
Step inside the new Fiat 600e and there’s a 10.25-inch touchscreen atop the dashboard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a 7.0-inch digital driver’s display.
You have a similar two-spoke steering wheel to the 500, and the dashboard has a retro-style design with a full-width air vent. There’s plenty of interior storage, including a compartment in the centre console with a fold-away cover similar to an iPad case.
New Fiat 600e motors and batteries
The new Fiat 600 will only be sold in the UK as a pure EV, and it shares a lot of parts with the Jeep Avenger. You have the same 156hp motor powering the front wheels, with a 0-60mph time of 9.0 seconds.

You also have the same 54kWh battery as the Avenger, and the 600e will do 250 miles on a charge. You get 100kW DC fast charging as standard, allowing you to top up from 20-80% in 27 minutes.
New Fiat 600e: when will it go on sale?
Order books for the new Fiat 600e open in the UK in the autumn, with first deliveries expected towards the end of the year.
UK pricing will be announced nearer the start of sales, however you can expect a starting price of around £35,000. That would keep it in line with the mechanically similar Jeep Avenger.
