The Skoda Kamiq has been given a facelift for 2023. This alternative to small SUVs such as the Vauxhall Mokka and Toyota C-HR gets tweaked styling and some updated engines.
The new Kamiq should go on sale in early 2024, with a small price increase over the current car.
New Skoda Kamiq price and specs
If you fancy the updated Skoda Kamiq, you can order one from 3 October 2023, although first deliveries aren’t expected until the Spring next year. Prices start from £24,030, around £500 more than the outgoing car. You have three trim levels to choose from: SE, SE L and Monte Carlo.
New Skoda Kamiq SE
Sitting at the entry point to the Kamiq range is the SE costing £24,030. It may be slightly more expensive than the outgoing car, but you do get more equipment. There’s now an 8.25-inch touchscreen, up from 8.0-inches, an 8.0-inch digital driver’s display and smartphone mirroring. Also standard are 17-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and LED headlights.
New Skoda Kamiq SE L
Stepping up to the SE L will set you back £27,175, and it’s the sweet spot in the range for equipment. Splashing the extra cash will get you 18-inch alloy wheels, a 9.2-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display and interior ambient lighting.
New Skoda Kamiq Monte Carlo
If you want to add a sporty flavour to your Kamiq, the Monte Carlo is the one to go for. It gets 18-inch alloy wheels, more aggressive-looking bumpers and blacked-out badges. Other standard equipment includes a panoramic glass roof, LED Matrix headlights and keyless entry.
New Skoda Kamiq design
This is just a facelift for the Skoda Kamiq, so the overall design is pretty similar to the outgoing car. There are plenty of tweaks though to keep this car looking fresh.
The main change up front is the new, slimmer headlights. They still have a split-level design, with the upper part being wider and the main beams in the lower bumper being slightly smaller. The grille is also re-shaped with a wider and more imposing design.
Not much has changed down the side of the car. You’ll still be able to get a sporty-looking Monte Carlo version of the Kamiq with some side skirts and 18-inch alloy wheels. The standard car gets 17-inch alloys.
There are some new tail lights at the rear, with a different LED signature and some curved reflectors underneath. The lower bumper has also been tweaked to give the car a slightly more rugged appearance.
New Skoda Kamiq engines
Electric cars are getting more and more popular, however Skoda hasn’t turned its back on old-school internal combustion power. The new Kamiq is available with a selection of petrol engines.
The entry-level car gets a 1.0-litre three-cylinder unit with 95hp and a five-speed manual gearbox. You can also have a 1.0-litre petrol engine with 115hp and either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic gearbox.

Sitting at the top of the range is a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 150hp. This is also available with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic gearbox.
New Skoda Kamiq: how much will it cost?
The new Skoda Kamiq is expected to go on sale in early 2024, however you can expect it to go up in price slightly over the current car. A figure of just over £23,000 is likely.
